2018 Miyagi Chojun Festival – Thank You Everyone!
I would like to thank all people who were involved in the planning and running of this year’s Miyagi Chojun Festival. The event was a huge success. At the end of the event, many participants came up to me and told me how much they enjoyed the whole experience. All our guest instructors expressed their appreciation for our hospitality. The event went very smoothly from the setting up, registration, training, first aid, transportation, welcome party, special seminars, black belt grading, Sayonara party, photo taking, Masters’ Demo, clean up, right back to returning everything to the dojo. This was the one of the best events that we have ever hosted!
Thank you Sensei Adrienne, and all the MCF staff and volunteers for your hard work. Thank you Sensei Spencer for waking up at 3 a.m. in the morning and driving our guests to and from the airport many times!
Thank you Canadian dojo heads for promoting the event, and bringing your students to MCF.
I hope you too had a good time and met our fantastic members from other dojo. The gasshuku is not only about training, but also about making new friends and catching up with old friends, which is as important as the training itself.
Below are some blog posts from other IOGKF members about their experiences at Miyagi Chojun Festival.
