Onegaishimasu,

I was in Stockholm, the capital city of Sweden, last weekend to teach their national Gasshuku. There were over 100 IOGKF Sweden members and two members from Denmark. In the event, Sensei Bjorn (IOGKF Sweden Chief Instructor, 7th dan) introduced me a very interesting person. He is a current committee member of Nobel Prize as well as Swedish Supreme Court judge. He is a 2nd degree black belt under IOGKF. This is one of the benefits of being a member of IOGKF. I meet so many unique people from different cultures, professions, (not just in the international events, but also when visiting a dojo). It is very interesting to hear the story from these people who have completely different backgrounds, professions and life experiences. But when we are training on the floor, we are all equal regardless of what you do outside of dojo. We just wear white uniform (gi) and train together and sweat. We respect and help each other become better. After the first day of training, they invited me to a special dinner at the restaurant where Nobel Prize Committee has dinner every Thursday. I had a wonderful time training with IOGKF family in Sweden.
