At the beginning of December, Shudokan Family Karate Centre hosted the annual Canadian Black Belt Gasshuku. Every year the gasshuku features a different theme; this year it was a very informative weekend with Nakamura Sensei providing many insights about traditional karate, our style of Goju-Ryu, and the science and physics of karate. All students agreed that it was a very inspirational event.
