She has spent many years studying the internal and external benefits of eastern medicine along with martial arts training.

Her great love in karate is the children which she has a great talent for and her work with autistic children got her a reputation which continues to this day. She can achieve amazing results in a short time, bringing confidence, respect, focus and most of all happiness to those she teaches.

Sensei Michelina has participated in numerous seminars and tournaments, domestically and abroad, such as Cuba and Hawaii, Arizona and Alberta. She traveled to China where she visited over 30 historical sites and Temples in 18 cities between Hong Kong and Beijing. Some of her destinations included the Ancestral Temple of Chen in Zhuhai, the legendary silk road, Temple of Heaven and the Forbidden City in Beijing, as well as, the Golden Peak at the summit of Wudan Mountain; a 3 to 6 hour challenging climb up through the clouds past the gate ways of heaven, on stone steps some of which were vertically inclined. It was in Xiamen where she visited the first of two Shoalin Temples and had the good fortune of training with the Shoalin Monks.

I have committed my life to teaching Karate as a way of life; a contribution I wish to share as a result of my journey through my own training.
