2019 IOGKF Canada Summer Picnic
On Saturday, July 13th, Shudokan Family Karate Centre and IOGKF Canada hosted the 2019 annual summer picnic. It was a beautiful day for a picnic and outdoor martial arts. More than 150 people came to have fun together including members from Taki Dojo (Niagara Falls), Naha Dojo (Toronto) and Triple Arts Academy (Cambridge). We trained together, had sparring with the juniors, and then a fun water gun fight where many sensei and senpai got soaked. Then there were games for all including a tug-o-war in which resulted in a tie so we still don’t know who the strongest members are 🙂
A delicious BBQ followed. Thank you to the Yudanshakai (Black Belt Club) members who organized and ran the event. It was a lot of fun for everyone and we hope you will join us again next year!
