2018 Friendship Tournament – Congratulations to all Participants!
Onegaishimasu,
I would like to congratulate all our members who competed IOGKF Canada Friendship Tournament yesterday. You demonstrated the true spirit of traditional karate doing your best and showing respect to your opponents and referees regardless of your result. I am proud of every single competitor for your courage to come up and perform in front of a big audience. I also want to thank all parents/audience to have created a great family atmosphere with respect and dignity throughout the event. Every single competitor received a big cheer from audience regardless of the dojo they come from.
I would like to thank black belt members and volunteers for your hard work and support. Without your help, we couldn’t make this event with such a success.
We had over 330 participants this year. This was the biggest turn-out ever! During the tournament, many parents came up to me and thanked me for giving their children such a great experience.
